Terms of service

1. The service

Calendblade mirrors events between calendars you connect, according to the sync rules you create. You decide which calendars are read and which are written.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Provide an email address you control and keep access to it secure. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for having the right to connect each calendar account you add.

3. Subscriptions, free trial and payments

Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; a card is required to start it and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One free trial per person.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period, and you may cancel before they take effect.

4. Your consumer rights and refunds

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of the first charge; if you are a consumer in Brazil, you may exercise the right of regret (direito de arrependimento) within 7 days under Article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code. To do so, email support@calendblade.com; we will refund the charge to your original payment method.

Outside these cases, fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Calendblade to access calendars you are not authorized to use, to disrupt the service or the calendar providers, to circumvent plan limits, to reverse engineer the hosted service's security controls, or for anything unlawful.

6. Your data and privacy

You keep all rights to your calendar data. You authorize us to read and write it solely to operate the sync you configure. How we process personal data, including your rights under the GDPR and the LGPD, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Third-party services

Calendblade depends on calendar providers such as Google and on payment processors such as Stripe. Their terms apply to your use of their services, and changes or outages on their side can affect syncing.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Sync is near real-time but not instantaneous. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid unused period.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as missed appointments, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or rights consumers cannot waive.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, with prior notice and an opportunity to remedy where reasonable.

11. Open source

The Calendblade source code is available under the GNU AGPL-3.0 license. That license governs the code; these terms govern the hosted service. The Calendblade name and logo are not licensed for use by forks.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims before the courts of your domicile.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect; if you don't agree, you can cancel before then. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
